Jack Crawford

Recognized nationally for his long time involvement, experience and knowledge of adventure racing, inspiring journalist and author Jack Crawford is constantly "on a quest for his boundaries..." in search of a fun adventure or a competitive race.

Jack has been involved with adventure racing since the beginning of the Eco-Challenge. He has staffed for events, volunteered as support crew for friends, produced events of his own, and has competed in many adventure races. His friends know him as an easy going guy who has given himself to the sport. He is the Founder and Website editor of, Beyond Adventure Sports, the first website to focus on adventure racing. In addition to being the founder and president of Beyond Adventure Sports, Jack has instructed adventure racing courses across the country, including Beast of the East, and Mountain Quest. He is also publishing a book about his experiences during the Eco-Challenge that took place in Borneo.
