SALT WATER FISHING
Rich Holland is the
leading outdoor writer on the West Coast, with extensive experience fishing
both saltwater and freshwater species from Mainland Mexico to Alaska. As
Saltwater Editor for the weekly newspaper Western Outdoor News®, Rich has
logged many hours on sportfishing boats off the Southern California and Baja
California coastlines, including the long range trips to the islands of the
Revillagigedo and Clipperton Atoll.
Rich is also Angling Editor for Western Outdoors® magazine
and rates trout, salmon and steelhead as some of his favorite fish. One of his
first writing stints was with Western Bass and he has chased lunker largemouth
deep into Mexico.
To paraphrase the late, great Rollo Heyn, "I'm not an expert,
but I do go fishing a lot," says Holland.

FRESH WATER FISHING
Jeff Davey Living in Winnipeg
Manitoba, home to world class angling adventures, I have always loved the sport
of fishing. Spending many hours on and off the water studying different
freshwater species has allowed me to broaden my knowledge and become more
successful on the water.
I have put in most of my hours on the Red River, Winnipeg River
and Lake of the Woods in Northwestern Ontario. As well as being a passionate
angler, I am the Manitoba Representative for Set the Hook Company out of
Sharon, Ontario, and am a member of the Alliance Marine and Sport Pro staff
here in Manitoba.
"The fish you release may be a gift to another fisherman as it
may have been a gift to you."
